Alchema return policy
The terms of this Return and Refund Policy only apply to ALCHEMA-branded cider makers and related hardware accessories (collectively referred to as the “Product”) purchased directly from ALCHEMA, Inc. (“ALCHEMA”). If you wish to return a Product for any reason, ALCHEMA will issue you a refund provided that you return the Product within sixty (60) days of the date you received the Product (“Initial Acceptance”). Any shipping costs associated with the return will be paid by ALCHEMA if the Product is returned within seven (7) days of Initial Acceptance. If seven (7) days have already passed since your Initial Acceptance, you may still apply for a refund but will bear any shipping costs associated with the return yourself.
To obtain a refund, adhere to the following instructions for returning the Product:
Contact ALCHEMA by email at email@example.com to initiate the return and refund process. Include the original order number, Product serial number and/or the UPC to help identify your order promptly and correctly. ALCHEMA, at its own discretion, may also require other proof of purchase information. ALCHEMA will provide you with the return shipping address, shipping method and packing slip to return the Product.
If the Product is capable of storing software programs, data and other information, you should maintain a separate backup copy of the contents of its storage media, remove all personal information that you want to protect, and disable all security passwords, before you return the Product.
Product must be returned in its original condition and original packaging. No refund will be issued for a Product that is physically broken or damaged in any way, unsanitary, or missing major contents and/or components. You must repackage and return all of the related hardware accessories that were originally shipped with the Product, such as sensors, containers or pitchers, USB cables, and USB power adapters. In addition, return the warranty card, invoice, and/or receipt (or gift receipt) that were originally shipped with the Product, and enclose the packing slip provided to you in the return package. If the Product appeared to have been damaged in any way, ALCHEMA may ask you to pay any repair or maintenance costs or reject your refund request.
Ship the Product to ALCHEMA using the correct shipping address, shipping method, and packing slip provided to you. If ALCHEMA provides you with a prepaid return label, please verify the return address on such prepaid return label is correct before you put it on the package. If ALCHEMA does not provide you with a prepaid return label, add requisite postage and mail the package via the carrier of your choice. The return shipping fee may be credited/deducted from your refund depending on the Product’s eligibility for return or refund, whether the return is made within seven (7) days of Initial Acceptance, etc. You assume all risk of loss or damage to the Product while it is in transit to ALCHEMA.
After ALCHEMA receives the returned Product, it will confirm receipt of such goods by notifying you via the email address it has on file. ALCHEMA will then process your return and promptly issue the applicable refund, less any taxes, shipping, and handling charges originally paid or incurred during the return process, by crediting your original form of payment (ALCHEMA will generally reimburse you for returned Products in the same way you paid for them e.g. if you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank). It may take up to fifteen (15) business days from the time the refund was initiated for the credit to appear. The refund processing time is an estimate only; it can and will vary, given the difference in shipping and transit times between various locations.

This Return and Refund Policy only applies to Products. ALCHEMA does not offer returns or refunds on nonreturnable purchases such as consumable items (e.g. yeast packets) due to their perishable nature, batteries, digital content, gift packaging, prepaid cards, memberships, services, software downloads, subscriptions and updates, custom and personalized orders, etc. Custom and personalized orders are those made especially for you – e.g. products where a customer has requested specific attributes (e.g. finish, color or size) or where a manufacturer builds only to order. Additionally, ALCHEMA does not offer returns or refunds on any third-party merchandise that may be sold through ALCHEMA or by any ALCHEMA-authorized retailers or resellers.
If you have purchased an ALCHEMA-branded product through a third-party company (including ALCHEMA authorized retailer or reseller), contact the company where the product was purchased to determine if you are eligible for a refund pursuant to its return and refund policy. Return and refund policies may vary from company to company.
If you return Products with a gift receipt, ALCHEMA will offer you credit or gift card that can be used to shop on ALCHEMA online store.
