Mead has soft, golden appearance and gentle, flowery aroma. The mild, honey sweetness has low acidity and tartness which creates a very light and refreshing beverage. Mead pairs exceptionally well with tangy barbecue, or even a nice cheese or fruit platter.

Tips: Honey with darker color performs better at fermentation. Use the honey with your favorite one since the flavor of mead all comes from the honey. For example, if you use honey which riches in flowery aroma, the finished mead will have stronger flower scent.
